Falmouth, Mass., June 17, 2015 – Dr. Eileen Crowley Sullivan has been appointed as the Interim Dean for Academic Affairs at The National Graduate School of Quality Management (NGS) headquartered in Falmouth, MA.
As the Dean of Academic Affairs, Dr. Sullivan serves as the Chief Academic Officer for NGS. Her responsibilities include: ensuring the highest academic standards and integrity of the school’s degree programs, student success, and systemic programmatic improvements. She oversees and directs academic programs, determines and sets admission criteria, ensures that NGS meets all compliance and regulatory requirements, directs faculty selection and development. Dr Sullivan will also be directing NGS’ curriculum review and continuous improvement processes.
Dr. Sullivan has an extensive background in higher education as an administrator, program chair, online certificate director, faculty member, and doctoral mentor. In past roles she was responsible for academic program development, policy, certification issues, state and regional accreditation as well as budgeting, staffing, and managing. She has extensive and diverse experience with designing, promoting, teaching, and assessing professional development workshops and courses. Recently she worked for Pearson Assessments & Instruction as an EdTPA e-portfolio scorer for the teacher certification process.
She is passionate about teaching, technology, women in educational leadership roles, and social media in education. Her peers describe Eileen as mission-driven, highly motivated, energetic, dedicated, compassionate, collaborative, and a team player. She enjoys reading (and has challenged herself for the second year in a row to complete 52 books in 52 weeks), golf, tennis, and all outdoor activities.
